Dr. Alec Ganci

Dr. Alec J. Ganci provides patients with state-of-the-art care for a wide range of general and cosmetic dental needs. Dr. Ganci received his Bachelor’s degree in biology from Muhlenberg College, and then graduated as a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the SUNY Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine, where he also received the Delta Dental Student Leadership Award and the Stony Brook School of
Dental Medicine Alumni Award of Excellence. During his time at Stony Brook, Dr. Ganci served as class president for all four years of school and completed an Oral Surgery outreach externship in Madagascar. After graduation, he completed his General Practice residency at North Shore University Hospital, serving as Chief Dental Resident. Dr. Ganci subsequently completed a two-year fellowship in Advanced Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry at North Shore Hospital.
Dr. Ganci is an industry consultant and lectures extensively on various topics, including implants, dental materials, digital dentistry workflows, and esthetics. Dr. Ganci is also a regular contributor to multiple dental2 journals. Actively involved in the field of dentistry, Dr. Ganci is a member of several professional organizations, including the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, the American Academy of Facial Esthetics, the Academy of Osseointegration, the Northeastern Gnathological Society, the American Academy of General Dentistry, the New York State Dental Association, the Nassau County Dental Society, and the American Dental Association. Dr. Ganci enjoys soccer, cooking, photography, and spending time with his wife, Lindsay, their adorable daughter, Ruby, and their dog, Latke at their home in Port Washington.
