Dr. Daniel Birkmire
Dr. Daniel Birkmire was born and raised on Long Island, New York. He grew up at Oak Beach and graduated from Saint John the Baptist Diocesan High School in 1978. He matriculated through Old Dominion University and graduated cum laude in 1982. He then graduated from the Medical College of Virginia in 1986.
He married his childhood sweetheart, Donna, and moved to Maryland to complete a residency in advanced general dentistry at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry and graduated in 1987. While completing his residency, he worked in a private practice in Baltimore, Maryland.
Dr. Dan started his dental practice in Shoreham in 1989 out of his home and continued practicing at three different locations until 1995.
Dr. Dan enjoys dentistry immensely and the office truly reflects this. The staff understands their job is to do the best for the patients in the least amount of time with absolutely no discomfort. Dr. Dan has three daughters and currently resides in Aquebogue. Dr. Dan enjoys boating, fishing, snow and water skiing, and is active in the Rocky Point Lions Club.
