Dr. Julie Walder
Dr. Julie T. Walder earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Union College and a D.M.D. from The University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. At the University of Connecticut, she took part in a dental mission to Peru where she performed dentistry on natives of the Amazon River Valley. She then completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry in Connecticut where she served as a faculty preceptor for dental students.
Dr. Walder returned to her native Rockland County where she has been working at the same private practice for 14 years. Her commitment to patient care and making patients feel comfortable is of utmost importance to her. She has been involved in the dental field since the age of 15 when she began working as a dental assistant. She attends numerous lectures and training sessions on all aspects of general dentistry, including implant restoration, and is dedicated to following current trends in dentistry. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Association and The Ninth District Dental Society. She has been designated as a Top Dentist in Hudson Valley every year since 2008.
When she is not practicing dentistry, she loves to read, hike and travel with her family.
