Dr. Monika Vermani
Dr. Vermani received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree in 1998 from Boston University. She proceeded with her AEGD residency program from Boston University Goldman School of Dentistry with a concentration in advanced Crown and Bridge work and Full Mouth Rehabilitation. She then taught in the pre-doctoral clinic at Boston University before moving to Connecticut.
Since then, Dr. Vermani has been practicing general dentistry for over 20 years in Connecticut with a focus on Sleep Apnea for children and adults. She is a Healthy Start provider and believes in early diagnosis and interception of sleep disordered breathing related problems in children and is a diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep medicine. She also provides a unique combination of Invisalign and Oral Appliance Therapy, an effective alternative to CPAP to treat sleep related breathing disorders like Sleep Apnea, Snoring, TMD and Bruxism or grinding.
Dr. Vermani prides herself in keeping up with the latest innovations in technology with continuing education in the dental field. She develops customized treatment plans and provides clear guidance, education and support that allows her patients to make informed decisions.
She has one mission – a healthy mouth and airway for her patients.
