Dr. Richard Rosenblatt

Dr. Richard Rosenblatt grew up in Hicksville on Long Island. After attending Brandeis University, he graduated from SUNY Buffalo Dental School in 1983 and joined the Gentle Dental team in 2000. With a strong focus on cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Rosenblatt creates beautiful, natural smiles, and enhances patients’ oral health. He understands and addresses patient concerns such as time constraints, affordability and anxiety. He regularly attends continuing education courses and is a member of the American Academy of Clear Aligners (AACA), the New York Dental Forum and the Eastern Long Island Dental Implant Study Club.
Dr. Rosenblatt cites that he decided to pursue dentistry because “In school, math and science always came naturally and easily. When I was in college, I had to choose between careers in research, medicine or dentistry. While I was completing a biochemical research project, I realized that I didn’t want to spend my life in a lab, so my career choice narrowed to either medicine or dentistry. After shadowing both a dental resident and an Emergency Room doctor, I recognized that I liked dentistry best. Dentistry was a good fit because I really enjoyed working with my hands.”
Dr. Rosenblatt enjoys connecting with people and helping them feel comfortable with dentistry. His patients tell him that, because he is soft-spoken and calm, he puts them at ease. He also loves music and attending concerts, and even plays the drums. He has played in bands throughout high school, college, dental school and during his career as a dentist. He also enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. Dr. Rosenblatt is proud to volunteer and fundraise for several charitable organizations on Long Island.
