Dr. Scott Asnis
Dr. Scott Asnis graduated from New York University College of Dentistry in 1983. Thereafter, he was granted and completed a general practice residency at the Brooklyn Veterans Administration Hospital in 1984. In addition to practicing in the metropolitan New York area for over 30 years, Dr. Asnis has continued his prestigious education and training as a general and cosmetic dentist by attending hundreds of hours of post-graduate education.
Dr. Asnis was honored by being chosen to act as a clinician tester for the world renowned, dental innovator Dr. Gordon Christiansen’s “Clinician Report”. This is a unique service where dentists worldwide unite their expertise for the sole purpose of testing all types of dental products and ‘disseminating’ results to colleagues throughout the world. Accordingly, this has allowed Dr. Asnis to stay on the cutting edge of some of the most innovative dental equipment and technology on the market. Dr. Asnis was also awarded the distinguished honor of being voted topDentists 2016 by other dental professionals in Westchester County.
In 2012, Dr. Asnis founded and is CEO for Dental365. This is an innovative, state-of-the-art dental practice with multiple sites in NYC, Brooklyn, and Long Island. The fast success and continued expansion of this practice in the metropolitan New York area is a testament to the passion that Dr Asnis has to provide the public with exceptional dental care that they can afford with office hours 7 days a week to accommodate the modern, busy lifestyles of today.
Dr. Asnis is married with two adult sons.
Dr. Kathryn Wilson
Dr. Kathryn Wilson (formerly Dr. Kathryn Schirmer) is a General Dentist and has enjoyed practicing with the Dental365 group since 2013 in their Lynbrook office. She graduated from Hamilton College with Honors in Chemistry and then went on to Tufts School of Dental Medicine where she received her DMD in 2009.
A General Practice Residency in Peninsula Hospital Center brought her to NYC, which she completed in 2011, receiving special honors in Operating Room, Prosthetic, and Operative Dentistry. Today, she enjoys treating patients in all phases of dentistry but espescially Cosmetic and Prosthetic Dentistry. Her greatest joy is to restore a patient’s smile.
Dr. Wilson has had the pleasure of sitting on the Queens County Dental Society Board of Trustees since 2012 and has held the positions of Secretary and Vice-President of the Institute of Continuing Dental Education. She is the current President of the ICDE.
Dr. Wilson is originally from Corning, New York and is a third generation dentist. She now lives in Belle Harbor with her husband whom she married in May 2015. Together, they enjoy spending free time with family, friends, and morning runs with their Welsh Terrier, Brenda.
Dr. Moshe Kalaie
Dr Moshe Kalaie grew up in Great Neck, Long Island. He attended Yeshiva University where he received his B.S in Biology. He then went on to attend New York University College of Dentistry, where he organized several outreach programs and received awards for outstanding clinical care. Upon graduation, Dr. Kalaie completed a one year residency at Brookdale University Medical Center which focused primarily on oral surgery and implantology.
Dr. Kalaie made several trips to third-world countries where he provided dental care for patients in need of dental implants. Dr Kalaie is a skilled surgeon with extensive knowledge and experience in implant and oral surgery. Dr Kalaie is married with three children. During his free time, he enjoys playing basketball, hiking and swimming.
David Gohari, DDS
Dr. David Gohari is a 2010 graduate of New York University College of Dentistry, Jonathan and Maxine Ferencz Advanced Education in Post Graduate Prosthodontics. Prior to obtaining his Post Graduate degree, Dr. Gohari acquired his DDS degree from New York University College of Dentistry in 2007.
During Dr. Gohari's residency in Prosthodontics, he worked closely with many premier Prosthodontists who instructed and directed him in the art and science of Prosthodontics. As a resident, he also acted as clinical faculty in the pre-doctorate dental clinics, helping instruct future general dentists in the fundamentals of Prosthodontics.
Upon Graduating from his residency in Prosthodontics, Dr. Gohari made the decision to continue his relationship with New York University College of Dentistry with the hopes that he could help teach and make an impact on future generations of dentists and Prosthodontists. As a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Prosthodontics at New York University, Dr. Gohari was able to instruct and mentor the International Prosthodontic Residents in fundamental clinical skills. Additionally, he has been in private practice since 2010. Dr. Gohari speaks about the enjoyment he receives from his job: “I really enjoy the patient interaction of private practice, it is great to meet people from different walks of life and gives each and every day a different experience and flavor."
Dr. Gohari is married to his lovely wife Stacey with two beautiful girls Eden and Parker.
Dr. Jeffrey Ng
Dr. Jeffrey Ng is a third-generation New York City native who has been helping patients throughout the metropolitan and Long Island areas.
From childhood, Dr. Ng aspired to be a dentist and developed his passion for the practice at an early age through his volunteer work at the Flushing Hospital Department of Dentistry and NYU Dental Bluestone Center for Clinical Research. He later attended Stony Brook University, graduating magna cum laude with a degree in biology. Dr. Ng went on to earn his DDS degree at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. Devoted to honing his craft, Dr. Ng furthered his studies at North Shore Long Island Jewish Medical Center, where he completed his residency and was awarded Resident of the Year by his colleagues.
It is an honor for Dr. Ng to be able to serve his community. His friendly and gentle approach instantly puts his patients at ease. He is enthusiastic about his profession and devoted to providing the highest level of care for his patients.
In his leisure time, Dr. Ng enjoys traveling, ultimate frisbee, and spending time with his family.
Dr. Eric Echelman
Dr. Eric Echelman graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a BA and went on to graduate from New York University College of Dentistry with a DDS degree in 1983. Dr. Echelman has built a reputation for expertise in Reconstructive and Cosmetic Dentistry with skill, artistry and extensive training. In order to accomplish this, Dr. Echelman has been continually involved with advanced education courses and programs in restorative, occlusion and aesthetic dentistry and has studied in many of the top learning institutes in the country.
His advanced education allows him to provide you with a smile and bite that exudes confidence, beauty and well-being. His passion and expertise in the field of Aesthetic Dentistry has been sought out by the most discerning, high profile in the tri-state area.
Dr. Echelman was honored by the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry for his work with the “Give Back a Smile” organization, which provides battered women with a newly restored, complementary smile makeover. Dr. Echelman was also recently honored to be named a Westchester Magazine “Top Dentist” as selected by his peers.
He is an active member of Spear Faculty Club, a learning institute dedicated to the pursuit of clinical excellence, a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and a member of the American Dental Association.
Dr. Echelman is married and resides in Chappaqua, New York with his wife and two lovely daughters.
Dr. Richard Bloom
Dr. Richard Bloom is a Long Island native and has been practicing dentistry for over 30 years. He is a graduate of NYU Dental School and is a member of the American Dental Association, New York State, and Nassau County Dental Societies, and Integrated Dental Studies Group.
As a child, Dr. Bloom always loved to build, repair and tinker with anything he could get his hands on. As he got older, he started to think about what profession he could choose that would allow him to use those skills. He decided on Dentistry since he wanted to be in a profession that allowed him to help make people’s lives better.
As a caring dentist with over 30 years experience, Dr. Bloom prides himself on the rewarding professional relationships he has formed with patients, fellow doctors, and wonderful staff members.
Dr. Bloom has three grown children spread throughout the country and enjoys boating, traveling, tennis and golf in his spare time.
Dr. Tamar Winters graduated cum laude from Brandeis University with a degree in Biology. She received her DMD from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (Rutgers School of Dental Medicine), where she graduated in the top of her class. While in dental school, Dr. Winters was inducted into the Prosthodontic Honor Society and placed on the Dean’s List each year.
Dr. Winters completed a general practice residency at Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, NJ, one of the top post-graduate dental programs in the Northeast. In her residency, she was trained in all aspects of general and cosmetic dentistry, including crowns, bridges, veneers, implants, dentures, root canals, extractions, and pediatric dentistry.
Dr. Winters is committed to providing her patients with the most modern and highest level of care by attending frequent continuing education courses. Dr. Winters is a member of the dental staff at Morristown Medical Center, the American Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Winters grew up in Parsippany, New Jersey. She currently resides in Manhattan with her husband.
Dr. Sandana Raj
Dr. Sandana Raj was born and raised in NYC. She graduated from NYU College of Dentistry in 2010 with awards for scholarship, leadership and service. After dental school, she completed General Practice Residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx where she trained in all aspects of general dentistry.
Dr. Raj is an adjunct clinical instructor at NYU, where she teaches future dentists the fundamentals of general dentistry. She is also committed to the best advances in dentistry by frequently attending continuing education courses. In her spare time, Dr. Raj enjoys traveling and being with family.
Dr. Marc Weinstein
Dr. Marc Weinstein graduated from N.Y.U. in 1976 with his D.D.S. degree. He then completed a one year general practice residency at Mt. Sinai hospital and was an attending instructor for many years. Dr. Weinstein is Dawson trained and graduated from Implant Maxi Course Surgical Program from N.Y.U. He is a member of ADA, NYS Dental Society, First District Dental Society, American Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and is a Fellow of the International Congress of Implant Dentistry. He was also elected to Consumer Research Council of America's Top Dentists. Dr. Weinstein is passionate about all dentistry, especially cosmetic and implant dentistry.
Martin Lazar, DDS
Dr. Martin Lazar is a General Dentist and has been practicing in Suffolk County for over 30 years. He completed his undergraduate education at Brooklyn College and continued on to get his DDS degree from NYU College of Dentistry. After dental school, Dr. Lazar spent two years as a dental officer in the U.S. Air Force.
Dr. Lazar is married to his wife, Lynn, and they have 2 grown sons and 5 grandchildren. He enjoys spending time with family, travelling, and gardening. As a long-time board member of PSCH (Promoting Specialized Care and Health), a non-profit agency providing healthcare resources for the developmentally disabled, Dr. Lazar volunteers and donates dental resources.
Michael Fleischer, DDS
Dr. Fleischer is celebrating the 31st anniversary of his graduation from the SUNY Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. After graduation, Dr. Fleischer was selected to be a first year dental resident at Buffalo General Hospital. Following the completion of the first year of advanced training, Dr. Fleischer was honored to accept the position of Chief dental resident at the hospital.
Jill Fleischer, DDS
Dr. Jill Fleischer is a 1987 graduate of the SUNY Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. After completing her D.D.S. degree as class Valedictorian, she went on to attend the General Dental Practice Residency program at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset.
The Drs. Fleischer brought their comprehensive dental training as well as their enthusiasm to Bellmore in 1990 and founded The Fleischer Dental Group, P.C. Both Dr. Fleischers belong to numerous nationally recognized dental associations to insure that their patients can benefit from the best science and technology available today. The Doctors, along with their entire staff of skilled dentists and hygienists, understand that Dentistry is not just about teeth. It’s about people.
Mary McAllister Davis graduated from Hofstra University in 1986 magna cum laude with a BS in Biochemistry. She then continued her education at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine and graduated in 1990 with high honors and ranked first in the class. Dr. McAllister completed her general practice residency at Stony Brook University Hospital for 1 year following graduation from dental school. She has lived on Long Island her entire life and has worked in private practice dentistry for the past 26 years - 11 of those years with the Fleischer Dental Group.
Dr. McAllister has been married for 24 years and has 3 children who have kept her busy with scouting and many sports. In her free time she enjoys traveling with family and scuba diving with her children and friends. She also enjoys a second career on the weekends as a scuba instructor.
Dr. Stacey Tzakas completed her undergraduate studies at Northeastern University, and graduated magnum cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Minor in Women’s Studies. She obtained her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Stony Brook University in 2011. Dr. Tzakas has been a Dental Associate with Fleischer Dental Group since 2013.
As a dental student, Dr. Tzakas pursued the opportunity to participate in several dental outreach programs treating underserved populations, both locally and abroad. She was selected to join a group of dentists and students that offered dental care in rural Madagascar. Additionally, she provided dental treatment at Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota, as well as communities throughout Long Island. Upon graduation from Stony Brook University, Dr. Tzakas continued as a General Practice Resident at Stony Brook University Hospital, and was selected to be a chief resident the following year.
Dr. Tzakas is looking forward to providing dental care in the community in which she was raised. She is excited to further her commitment to state-of-the-art dental care with Dental365. Dr. Tzakas is a member of the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association, and Nassau County Dental Society. In her free time, Dr. Tzakas enjoys traveling, cooking, hiking, and spending time with her husband and family.
