Dental365 held a very successful free dentistry day for veterans on Veteran’s Day, Saturday, November 11^th. The event was held in Union Square, Manhattan and Levittown and Centereach, Long Island. Over 30 patients were seen and treated with the very best of care from the Dental365 team. Patients received cleanings, x-rays, full-mouth debridements, fillings, extractions and comprehensive examinations at no charge and left the office happy and smiling.

Pamalla Curry, one of the veterans treated at the event, comments about her experience: “I just had a cleaning and a couple fillings done free of charge for veterans like myself. The staff was very friendly and attentive to my needs. Shamika and Dr. Weinstein were very knowledgeable and made sure I was comfortable for my procedures. Keith A. Ferguson was a native New Yorker and member of the NYPD Emergency Services Unit, Truck 7. Keith served with the NYPD for 17 years as a patrolman, detective, and sergeant. He worked in narcotics, street crimes, and auto crimes before the Emergency Services Unit. Once Keith decided to pursue a career in law enforcement, he never looked back and was a happy police officer.

Sgt. Keith Ferguson 5K Across the Brooklyn Bridge supports education and law enforcement activities. Scholarships are given to selected candidates at the race and offered to children of all NYPD officers attending college in good standing, as well as entering freshmen.
